ABOUT US
On behalf of my beautiful partner Amanda I just want to take this moment in time to share a bit about the both of us.
My name is Bishoy Marcus and I am a sub deacon at St Barbara & St Noufer’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Sydney Australia. I have completed my Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery at UOW having previously obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Sydney University. Amanda’s first degree was a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (UNSW) Majoring in Human Resources. Amanda then continued her studies at the University of Technology Sydney obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Law.
Now you may be asking why this blog?
Well….
Our passion for the Orthodox Church is immense; everything it has to offer is so beautiful. We both pray and plead with our awesome God that he grants you all a taste of the rich and sweet traditions of the oldest church in the world.
So look forward to the following:
